ST. PATRICK’S 2020
6- Night Escorted Tour
Day 1: Sunday, Arrive in Ireland! Dublin
Morning arrival at Dublin Airport. Depart Dublin Airport at 9:30 am and enjoy a scenic tour of the fishing port of
Howth as we make our way to your Dublin Hotel. Check into your hotel (subject to check in time and availability).
Free time to rest. Afternoon departure for a visit to the Guinness Storehouse, enjoy a panoramic view over Dublin
city from the Gravity Bar while enjoying a pint! Remainder of the day and evening are free to enjoy Dublin.
Day 2: Monday, Dublin - Glendalough - Dublin
Morning sightseeing to the garden of Ireland, Glendalough, in County Wicklow. Our visit includes a stop at the
home of the 6th century monastic settlement founded by St. Kevin and is one of the most important Christian
settlements in Ireland. We return to Dublin where the afternoon is free. Tonight we enjoy dinner and a traditional
Irish show in Dublin. Returning to our hotel around 10:30 pm for overnight in Dublin. (B, D)
Day 3: Tuesday, St. Patrick’s Day!
After breakfast, independently make your way to the nearby parade route where
you can view the fabulous St. Patrick’s parade festivities. You are free today to enjoy
Dublin. Visit museums, galleries and some of Dublin’s most famous pubs! Overnight
in Dublin. (B)
Day 4: Wednesday, Dublin - Cashel - Killarney
Morning departure from Dublin. Travel south via Tipperary where we pause for a
photo-op of the historic Rock of Cashel. Continue onto Blarney, with an option to kiss
the famed Blarney Stone, said to bestow eloquence on all who dare or shop the
famous Blarney Woollen Mills for crystal, tweeds and more. Continue on with the
short journey to Killarney for dinner and overnight. (B, D)
Day 5: Thursday, Killarney - Ring of Kerry
Today we depart on one of Ireland’s most popular and beautiful drives, the Ring of
Kerry. Let the magic of the Ring of Kerry dramatic mountain passes, rugged
coastlines and charming towns sink in as we tour this magnificent area. We make our
way back to Killarney for dinner and overnight. Killarney is a perfect town to enjoy
pub entertainment and live traditional music. (B, D)
Day 6: Friday, Killarney - Limerick - Drogheda
Morning departure from Killarney we travel via the old world village of Adare in
County Limerick and then onwards to Kildare to County Louth for dinner and
overnight in Drogheda. (B, D)
Day 7: Saturday, Drogheda - Dublin St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Transfer to Dublin Airport for your return flight home. (B)
