were due to improper installation, #1
 improper torque, or not setting
the locking portion of the center lock properly after torqueing the wheel. I know right now there are some center lock owners going “.....”
Not setting the locking portion....what the heck is that!?” It is a fairly straight forward conversion; you will need 4 new wheel bearings, (4) 5 lug wheel hubs, 20 lug bolts, and a set of 5 lug wheels. All other components remain the same.
See Picture 2
IN THE RACING CIRCLE WE REFER TO THIS AS “THE BRAKE HELPER.” A GIANT TORQUE WRENCH AND THE CENTER LOCK HUB TOOL. OK, MAYBE WE DON’T USE THE TERM “HELPER”, BUT THIS IS A PG PUBLICATION
There are a couple ways you can attack this project; most people will opt to remove the entire wheel carrier, as they will need to use a standard hydraulic press to remove the bearings. I do them on the car because I have the right tool .
First you need to remove
the wheels, brake rotors, brake calipers, center lock engagement hub, etc. At the same time, you will need to pop the front tie rod loose, loosen the lower control arm to the chassis bolt to allow for movement, disconnect the sway bar, and loosen the bolts holding the strut to the carrier.
