Here is cylinder 4, which is very close to the hole in the front of the engine we pass
the tool through. You can see a good shot of the wrist pin installed, and the wrist pin clip sitting in it’s groove. Once everything is as it should be, a threaded cap is installed to seal up the engine.

 Next I like to install the bank two chain guide rails in the engine, then the front console so the IMS shaft end is supported properly in the housing. The guide rails
on that bank need to be installed before the console as the retaining bolts for the guide rails are behind the console. The oil pump drive gears are installed (highly recommend replacing the oil pump drive key with the LN Engineering hardened key). Probably a good stopping point before we put the heads on the engine. At this point, the most difficult part of the engine build is done :)
