WHAT A GREAT YEAR
JUST TWO MONTHS LEFT ON THE CALENDAR!
SOCIAL CHAIR
It’s hard to believe we are approaching the end of 2022. The year seems to have flown by, and much too quickly. In looking back at our social events, we’ve had the chance to connect and build relationships with new and existing members. As I reflect on our events during the year, I’d like to share a few fun facts.
In ten months we’ve had 18 social events.
- Many, many more driving tours, autocrosses, DE’s, SIM racing, etc.
- On average, we have 50 members at each social event.
- As you’d expect, the colder months of 1st quarter 2022 had lower participation, with seven events and an average of 44 members per event.
- The 2nd quarter brought us five events and a slightly higher average of 46 members per event.
- As the summer brought a rise in temperatures, our member participation rose as well, with five events and an average of 63 members per event.

- We’ve had several dinners, ate ice cream, watched a really great movie, played golf and pickle ball and even had a group go cross country from KC to Colorado Springs.
We’ve put miles on our cars, heard great stories and shared laughs. It’s been a really great year! And the fun isn’t over just yet:
In November, we head to St. Joe with a BBQ at the Wollenman’s estate. Thanks to our gracious hosts Bob and Connie for all their coordination and efforts. In December, we’ll gather for our Holiday dinner at the Cedar Creek Club House in Olathe. We’ll plan to have a great dinner and time to mingle and share a wish for a Happy Holiday and New Year!
