50 Der Sportwagen water and a terrific selection of downtown’s favorite Lamar Donuts. It was definitely noted that a number of visitors beyond the ranks of the Porsche members immensely enjoyed our hospitality. Special kudos to Jeff Wagoner and the Kansas City Automotive Museum for their input into the event planning, organizing and logistics support. The location and venue presented at the Underground Classic Car Storage location was amazing and many people enjoyed touring the attractive storage facilities. With this change in venue, the Porsche Team worked closely with Jeff to develop a layout for the participating clubs and established key milestones and timelines for the new site. In order to stimulate change and to generate interest in the COVID-19 era, a decision was made to alter the car classes for display and to provide numerous trophies and Special Event T-shirts to recognize both winners and runner ups for the 18 new classes. It was determined that we would maintain a unique class for 356 generation Porsches and that “Special Edition” Porsches (GT, GTS, 904, Spyder, Speedster, etc.) would be grouped into a single class.
