YEARS
I’m so thankful for the return of sunny warm days, and gaining traction and moving beyond the pandemic. We will continue our due diligence as we gear up for in person events. The coming months will include both driving and social gatherings. As we return to in person events, we’re adding a new opportunity for the KC Region to give back to the community.
As you know, for several years KCRPCA has provided financial
and volunteer support for Healing Pathway during the holiday
season. To expand our support, the KC Region will be coordinating donation opportunities at events. If it is a “donation event”, we will send an email listing items needed and ask that you bring those to the event.
At the head of Healing Pathway is Monica Roberts, Founder and Executive Director, whose agency advocates for and empowers children that have lost a parent
or parents to homicide or suicide
within the Kansas City metropolitan area. All services are confidential. The agency follows a Trauma Informed Care model to empower co-victims of homicide and suicide to meet their self-identified goals
