numerous videos and social media content. He has a saying, “dirt don’t slow you down.” I like that. In fact, I have something to admit.
“My car is dirty”. There, I said it. It’s not so much that it’s dirty, but it is really dirty. I haven’t thoroughly washed it in quite a while. I could be forgiven because we’ve had brutally cold temperatures, several periods of snow, plus there’s salt and the resulting potholes everywhere you go. I’ve been avoiding it for the last few weeks when I enter the garage, looking the other way so I don’t see how bad it is.
Porsche, even if driving gets it dirty. So if I can enjoy getting it dirty, why don’t I enjoy seeing it dirty? That’s an issue I, along with many others have; maybe there’s therapy in my future.
We need to remember Porsches are bred from a heritage built on racing, and winning. Getting dirty and winning. Porsches have raced in the Paris Dakar Rally for years; the 959 dominated and changed how an off-road race car looks. Off-road, that’s in dirt, right...?
