WHAT I LONG TO COMMUNICATE IN MY
UNION WITH CHRIST MESSAGE
I desire to present our union with Jesus, by stressing three
important principles. There can be no union apart from the
Lordship of Christ; there can be no union apart from the
continual flow of His life; and there can be no union with
Christ apart from spiritual romance. His Lordship I will
illustrate by His union with His mother, Mary; the flow of His
life I will illustrate by the relationship of the head with the
body. Finally, I will use the intimacies of the marriage bond
to illustrate union with Christ.
