down. Something that will expose their self-centered life, that they
might come to know the Lord. It is never wrong to pray against
injustice or unrighteousness or insurrection or violence or any kind of
sin. Ask God to deliver you from vindictiveness. Keep your eye on
Christ. Pray telescopically. Pray generally. Then ask God to tell you
        when to pray against.

I remember when I was in school we had an imprecatory history teacher.
I would go in and I flunked that course four times. I hated history. I
could not fathom it. And that buzzard would get up there and pray:
“Reward the righteous and slay the sluggard. In Jesus’ name. Amen”.
Well, I was always slain every time. That is imprecatory prayer. I was
at a prayer meeting one time and someone raised their hand and say:
Could we pray for the president? Well, I was interested because I knew
the leader was a spiritual man. I was interested. How is he going to
pray? I do not know how to pray for the president. I will never forget
his prayer. He said: Save him or remove him. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
That was his prayer. I thought, oh my, I could not pray that kind of
        prayer.

Let me just give you those seven principles again and we will wrap it up.

        1: Prayer is praise.
2: Prayer should be short and pointed.
3: Prayer is a pouring out of the heart.
4: God always over answers prayer.
5: Prayer fulfills the will of God.
6: Pray telescopically as well as microscopically
7: Do not be afraid to pray negatively if you do it with your eye on
             the Lord
