disobedient?” They didn’t enter HIS rest. Hebrews 4:3, “For we
who have believed enter that rest, just as He has said, ‘As I swore in
My wrath, they shall not enter My rest,’ although His works were
finished from the foundation of the world.” Because of unbelief
they didn’t enter MY rest is what God said.

Hebrews 4:10, “Therefore I was angry with this generation, and
said, ‘They always go astray in their heart; and they did not know
My ways’…” the good news is that we can enter HIS rest; not the
rest that He gives but the rest that He has. Let me ask this, is God
concerned about anything going on in your life right now? He’s at
rest and He wants you to enter His rest and be as unconcerned as He
is. God is satisfied with the finished work of creation. God is
satisfied with the finished work of redemption.

I would always wonder, “Am I surrendered enough, am I humble
enough, am I sincere enough, do I have enough faith.” God said,
“Don’t go there.” What you need to know is that He is satisfied. He
accepts you. He loves you. He delights in you. He has your future
under control. When God allows me to start believing that He has
everything under control, I enter rest. His rest was being satisfied.
My rest is believing that He is satisfied.

What I would like to do now is take another step. It’s true that He’s
satisfied with everything that He has done in creation and
redemption but He’s not finished working. Philippians. 1:6, “For I
am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in
you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians
5:24, “Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to
pass.” He’s still working. He’s not finished. 2 Corinthians 3:18,
“But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of
the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to
glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.” 1 John 3:2, “Beloved, now
we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we shall
be. We know that, when He appears, we shall be like Him, because
we shall see Him just as He is.”
