Your Local Community Flood Groups

• If you live in a flood risk area, then it is always an idea to get to
know your local Community Flood Groups.

These groups are staffed in the main by volunteers and during a

flooding incident, you will find them hard at work helping
residents and businesses.

Community Flood Groups are an important element in any flood

prone area. Speak to your local Community Flood Group as to
any plans they have regarding evacuation to local community

centres.

Are You a Community Flood Action Group?

• Avradel would like to hear from any Community Flood Action
Group so that we can help promote your group and inform your

local residents, as to how they can contact you.

• Avradel would also like to promote your group in the NEW ‘Crisis
eMagazine, which will be read all around the world.

• Through product advertising in the Avradel Flood Manual, the

Directors of Avradel will use half the income generated to
purchase flood equipment which they will give to groups within

the UK.
