Don’t get stuck in the same rut every weekend!
You may not be traveling as far on your boat as you used
to. Maybe less trips to Lake Erie locations and to cities
on Lake Huron. But, please remember, you don’t have to
go far to have a fun weekend experience with your family.
There are lots of marinas on Lake St. Clair and on the St.
Clair River that are just a short boat ride away. All the
marinas at the back of this Guide offer a variety of activi-
ties and amenities (please refer to “Transient Marinas”
Pages 39, 41, & 42) .
Check out their websites. Many have fun barbecues,
like your actually camping and some you’ll be able to ex-
plore the city life in the surrounding area just a short walk
away. Also, check our calendar on Page 27 and plan
your boating trip around a festival or other big event!
There’s nothing more fun than getting a group of boats
together and spending a weekend socializing at a fun lo-
cation. Your kids will always remember camping out on
the boat and you’ll have a great time too!
