Since it’s the first event of the season in late June, the water tem-
perature is still quite chilly (was 68 degrees) which slows a lot of
swimmers entering the water. Difficulty too of anchoring around
Gull Island limits the much larger crowds that congregate in An-
chor Bay & Muscamoot Bay for Aquapalooza and the Raft Off.
