Jim Kretzschmar from Grosse Pointe gave me a call out of
the blue last fall while putting together this 2018 edition. He on the bridges to watch the boats go by
asked if I remembered doing an article about the “USS Lake
St. Clair” history. He reminded me it was in the 2010 issue
(because that was the first year he owned a boat and picked
up his initial issue of the Lake St. Clair Guide!).
