stated, “the Terno Ball is not
      only about showcasing the
      different styles of the Ternos.
For me, it is a community
      project providing
      scholarships to deserving
      college-bound students. Last
      year, we started working on
      providing a four-year
      scholarship to our
      hardworking students, which
for us means raising funds to
      support this project. We also
      recognize and honor four
      outstanding women
      achievers in their field of
      profession or endeavor.”
          The FWCH president
      admitted that planning the
event is no easy task – “it
takes a lot of time, effort,
      money and patience!” She
called the process a “work of
      love.”
          According to Liu, to make
      the event successful, planning
      takes approximately a year.
      FWCH’s officers and directors
are the main drivers of the
      planning process, which
      includes finding the venue,
      calculating the budget,
      drafting the timeline,
      recruiting volunteers, etc.
          Liu stated that the aspects
of the Terno Ball that she was
      most proud about are the
      Scholarship Project and the
      awarding of the four
      outstanding women
      achievers.
          When asked about what
      advice she would give to
      individuals who are interested
in the Terno Ball and FWCH,
she said, “get involved – it’s
