At the heart of nation-building is providing
the means for diverse communities to become
more resilient in the face of challenge. It is the
ongoing pursuit of ways that we can inspire
through example and encourage others to
succeed in today’s world.
The Bank’s sponsorship of the Camp Glow (Girls
Leading Our World) leadership retreat set the stage
for 40 secondary school girls to make the most of
essential life and social skills training in a wide range
of topics including: personal development, public
speaking, caring for the environment, appreciating our
culture, building healthy relationships, and community
leadership.
Reaffirming the commitment to community
development, the Bank maintained its support of 20+
community-based organisations that play vital roles,
through their unwavering service and advocacy, in
addressing the needs of vulnerable groups, including
YEARS OF ANGEL HARPS the elderly, the sick, and the socially marginalised.
