Who We Are
The International Conflict Analysis &
Transformation Research Group (ICAT) is a
public policy-oriented research group
directed by faculty in the Coles College of
Business and the College of Computing and
Software Engineering at Kennesaw State
University in metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia.
ICAT conducts applied and data-driven
research on intra– and interstate conflict in
order to develop policy prescriptions for
sustainable conflict transformation.
Our philosophy emphasizes balancing
economics with equitable social
development for conflict prevention and
transformation. Our analyses are tailored to
support decision-making for a wide variety
of stakeholders operating in socio-
economically vulnerable countries.
