Groton Post #39 takes 5th at Red eld Tourney
Groton Post #39 defeated Claremont-Britton at the Red eld Tourney on Sunday with a 11-8 win. The win gave Groton the consolation championship trophy.
Bennett Shabazz had three singles, Aaron Severson added two singles, Brandon Keith and Luke Thorson each had a double and Sean Schuring, Wyatt Locke and Korbin Blackmun each had a single. Anthony Sip- pel was the pitcher with four strike-outs, six walks and 12 hits. Wyatt Locke was the catcher.
