Action 16-141 Motion by Nickelson, second by Hart to accept the following Administrative contracts and certi ed contracts: Jessica Ringgenberg, Principal, $57,000; Justin Brotzel, Technology Coordinator, $57,000; Ashley Larsen, Counselor, $39,200; Kallyn Jerde, teacher, $37,600; and Jennifer Little, teacher, $37,000. Action 16-142 Motion by Ellwein, second by Hart to accept the contract for the 2017-2018 school year with the South Dakota Department of Health. All aye, carried.
Action 16-143 Motion by Nickelson, second by Hart to set the budget hearing for the 2017-2018 budget for July 10, 2017 at 6:30 pm. All aye, carried.

Action 16-144 Motion by Hart, second by Nickelson to approve the disbursement of the Ovid Stevens scholarship funds and the Earl and Marvel Gelling scholarship funds directly to the institution of higher education in which a student intends to enroll in the year awarded if enrollment will be delayed due to military commitments. In the event the student does not attend the institution after their military com- mitment, the funds are to be returned to the scholarship fund. All aye, carried.
Action 16-145 Motion by Ellwein, second by Nickelson to approve the transfer of Food Service investment funds of $556.59 to the Food Service enterprise fund. All aye, carried.
Action 16-146 Motion by Nickelson, second by Ellwein to approve the transfer of $1,588.33 from the General Fund to the Trust and Agency Yearbook Account to cover the balance de cit. All aye, carried.
Action 16-147 Motion by Hart, second by Nickelson to approve the Open Enrollment application for Fam- ily A. All aye, carried.
The 2017-2018 preliminary budget was reviewed.
A discussion was held regarding the date and time of the high school graduation ceremony coinciding with the Leola School District. The 2018 high school graduation date and time will not be adjusted and is to be held on May 12, 2018 at 2:00pm per the approved school calendar.
During the May 24, 2017 Football co-op meeting, the Bowdle School District board and parents expressed concern about junior high students spending a signi cant amount of time traveling to practices in Leola. Three options presented by the Bowdle school board were discussed. Athletic co-op committee members Hart and Sumption will attend a June 20, 2017 committee meeting and results will be presented to the
