AHH BABY NEWS

RUTH is just darling. She cannot
walk independently yet, but her
walker is her favorite place to

be. Even when her nanny picks
her up and carries her around,
Ruth will beg to be put down in
her walker so she can go where
she wants. She will even ram
her walker into doors that she
wants opened or obstacles that
are in her way. She can have
quite the stone face, but when RUTH
her nanny plays a game of peek- 13 MONTHS OLD
a-boo with her, Ruth will go from • Loves to make messes
zero expression to the most • Hates to take a bath

animated, hysterical laughter • Laughs hysterically at peek-a-boo
and entertains the entire room!

JOSIE also loves her walker and
is described as “a bull” as she
charges around the home. Her
special talent is taking things
(toys, socks, bibs) from other
children and running off in the
other direction as far as she can
go. No longer the tiny preemie
that she was when she arrived

last year, Josie will walk
confidently for long stretches as
long as her nanny is holding her
arms or her hands. Sometimes
she is so fast, she is actually
pulling her nanny along. Like JOSIE
many other children that come 1 YEAR OLD
through this wonderful home, • Enjoying a variety of solid foods
Josie is quite attached to her • Has fun taking other babies’ things
• Aggressively walks while holding
beloved nanny and will protest nanny’s hands

when she sees her holding any
other child.
