INTRODUCTION

The aim of this document is to demonstrate that Astute Electronics Ltd have
the credentials to provide General Dynamics with a supply chain that
delivers the following:-

Astute will hold stock and deliver orders against a forecast supplied from
General Dynamics, whilst conditioning the supply chain and delivering a
logistics solution in the pre-determined quantities required.

Astute will support General Dynamics through all stages of the supply chain
from Procurement to DLF with a member of Astute based in Hastings, leading
to vendor reduction.

Astute will advise and offer guidance with through life support advising
General Dynamics of any potential LTB’s for their “Evergreen” program with
the MOD.

Astute and General Dynamics will agree key performance indicators that will
include on time in full delivery, quality of on time in full delivery and the
management of any potential obsolescence issues to ensure the supply of

components can be delivered.

Once the contract has been awarded, both General Dynamics and Astute will
work together in agreeing a suitable way of communicating that delivers the
efficiencies required for this project.

The contract awarded will run for a period of 4 years to which both companies will
look to improve any areas that can deliver savings and further efficiencies and
share the benefits equally.

Astute see this project as a core competence within its business and look forward
to working alongside General Dynamics.
