14. Emotive language
Emotive language plays a duel role, it symbolize and expresses our feeling but it also arouses or
evokes feeling in other ( Chaffee,2000). it also use to interest people in what we are saying. It can be
also a dialect which adds strong description to the facts and helps to create extremely, so it can
stimulate the reader’s emotion. The most important thing why you use emotive language in your
hortatory text to persuade the readers toward the strong description to the fact.
e g. *They were killed (emotive version : They were EXECUTED by murderer in a
cold blood )
