Biography
Shortly after the birth of my birth of my third son, I decided (with Ashton’s full approval) to opt out of hospital medicine and establish a family practice. This facilitated proper supervision, homework and extracurricular activities. I attained my WMH Degree (Wife, Mother, Homemaker).
General practice is fascinating – one meets the good, the bad and the ugly. Three, in some instances four, generations of families have become patients, and I have numerous “nephews and nieces” of all ages, shapes and sizes. I am Aunty Pat, Mrs. Ashton (after my husband), Dr. Pierre and my personal favorite “My Little Lady” from an elderly gentleman. My private practice has been successfully maintained for 38 years. Sadly, Ashton passed on 18th December, 2002, after 30 years of marriage. I am now the proud grandmother of five.
