Memories
Memory 1
I recall the happy experience of modelling evening wear at one of the annual “Smoker" social events, hosted by the medical faculty social event on the patio of at the Registrar's Flats, across from the Orthopaedic Ward of the UWI Hospital, Mona. My co-model partner on the "catwalk" was classmate of '74 year group, Pamela Steele, and our male escort was another classmate- the handsome and dashing Timmy Barrett, Olympian from Nassau, NP, and Bahamas.
Memory 2
I recall a very interesting experience during the Social and Preventive Medicine Clerkship off campus experience of, when classmate of the '74 class Sandra Rayson and I spent time at the house of a hostess in Maypen. The very early AM experience of getting out with the pilot to the ships which sailed in during the very early AM hours and had to pass through the Port Health Health clearance before docking, was quite an interesting learning experience. The tasty home made solid breakfasts, prepared by our hostess, were top rated.
