They’re so still! Are they ill?
(spoken) Wake up little monsters! (the children wake up)
Roar little monsters roar, roar, roar, (the children jump around as they “roar”) Roar, roar, roar,
Roar, roar, roar!
Roar little monsters roar, roar, roar,
Roar, roar, roar! X 2
Ask a volunteer to suggest another Halloween creature. Sing the song again, altering the lyrics and actions to incorporate the new creature (e.g. ‘Boo little ghosts’, ‘jump little frogs’, ‘stomp little giants’ etc.). If the volunteer is struggling to come up with an idea, offer some suggestions for them to choose from. If you need to perform the actions to encourage the children then please do so. Otherwise, clap along as you sing the chorus to help maintain energy.
