Successful Completion of

    One Year Golf Programme


    (School produces its first batch of golfers)
    Students of classes IV to X who all had joined School’s Golf Academy in 2017 have
    accomplished their One Year Golf Programme and have also started giving their appearance
    in competitive golf matches.
    To acknowledge these students a certification programme was held on 15 Dec. 2018.
    On this triumphal occasion along with Ma’am Principal Ms. Meeta Bhandula,
    Retired Major General Subhash Bindra and Mr. Monish Bindra (Head of the instructions
    and club fitting) had shown their benign presence to felicitate all 22 students with the
    certificates and emboldened them to undertake the future endeavour.

    Serena Singh of grade X A and Himanshu Nagar of grade IX A
    were chosen as Head of School’s Golf Team who will represent the School’s Team in the
    upcoming future matches.

    On the focal theme for 9th NTSC 'Design Literacy for Effective Science
    Communication by Educators',  our Science teachers Ms. Suvigya Drabu (Biology)
    submitted her research work on the topic “Sustainable development -
    India’s prospective” which gave an insight of India’s Vedic View and Methods of
    sustaining energy at global level & Ms. Shraddha Mathuria (Physics) presented her
    research paper on the topic “Approach of Media for Neo Millennial” in which she
    explained the ways to design the learning material to cater to learners with a range of
    different learning modalities.


                              Observer at National Level CBSE Sports Event
                               Head of the Department (Sports), Ms. Neeraj Singh who
                               is a dynamic professional has been appointed as
                               National Level CBSE Sports Observer in CBSE Lawn
                               Tennis Tournament. Indeed a great achievement!

                                                      Our PGT (Eco.) Ms. Ritu Datta and PGT (Acc.) Mr. Shekhar attended a workshop on
                 u 1  CBSE Capacity Building          Capacity Building programme for Business Studies which was organized by RO,
                      Programme attended              Dehradun, CBSE in Gyanshree School, Noida. The objective of the workshop was to
                                                      acquaint  teachers  with  modified  syllabus  of  Business  Studies  and  update  the
                     by commerce teachers             knowledge with few modifications in NCERT text books.

                      u  Career Counselling           On 15 th September 2018 a workshop

                         Workshop                     was conducted on POCSO Act in the
                                                      school campus. The main objective of
                                                      the  workshop  was  to  enhance  the
                                                      knowledge of the participants about the
                                                      main  features  of  POCSO  act. As  child  sexual  abuse  is  a  highly  growing  concern
                                                      because  sexual  violence  can  have  serious  consequences  for  not  only  children,  but
                                                      for  their  families  too.  So,  it  becomes  our  responsibility  to  combat  this  menace  in
                                                      different  ways.  Such  workshops  will  help  teachers  and  parents  to  create  a  more
                                                      caring atmosphere and they will get more acquainted towards their role in the society.




               On  6th  October  2018,  Career  Counselling  Workshop  was  organized  for  the  parents
               and  students  of  Class  IX  and  XII.  The  workshop  was  focussed  on  the  various  career
               choices and the road map to achieve them. The School Councillor, Ms. Pratibha enumerated
               the  role  of  parents  in  deciding  a  right  career  path  for  their  children  that  is  in  tune
               with their skills and job experiences.
