Trump’s Economic Era

The election of Donald Trump has all the
hallmarks of an about-face for America, although he
has a hard row to tow. Can he turn things around? Can
he make real change possible? Can he repair our broken
house and make America great again? He has a
majority in the Senate, and in the House, he even has a
majority of state governors, but will enough
Republicans follow his lead, or will they succumb to
their old ways and put politics ahead of financial
reform? Or will some not support him because he is not
one of their own?
Then there is the increase in military spending, the
expense of building a wall on Mexico’s border, and
increases in infrastructure spending. Can we grow the
economy enough so that we do not have to increase the
20 trillion dollars of national debt?

In a speech, President Trump gave to the
Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) he
stated:
“Our victory was a win like nobody
has ever seen before, and I am here
fighting for you, and I will continue to
fight for you. The victory and the win
was something that really was dedicated
to a country and a people that believe in
freedom, security, and the rule of law.
Our victory was a victory and a win for
conservative values.”

In a later speech, President Trump has stated:
“The time for trivial fights are behind
us. We just need the courage to share
