P. 139

CHORUS
                      There tribulation has no place,
                    And not one sigh, and not one groan;
                   And when I stand on that high ground,
                     Without a care I'll sing His praise.
                                2
                      My heart has no desire to stay,
                      So absent far from Jesus Christ;
                      While many rise to see His face,
                   In love redeemed, washed by His blood.
                                3
                      I want to love above the world,
                     There in His mansions ever more;
                      A perfect peace, a joyful bliss,
                       I'll never find upon this earth.
                                4
                      When I arrive, then I'll rejoice,
                     And catch a gleam of glory bright;
                 There 'round the throne, with Christ I'll dwell,
                      Eternal bliss on higher ground.

                   And sing to the Lord, with fervent voice.
                              CHORUS

                 The day is coming when Jesus Christ returns,
                    He will descend, to take his Church;
              Those who sleep in Christ. will rise up from the grave,
                  The sound of His voice will raise them up.
