Towards sepulcher they're walking, tealously,
Some pious women came looking to find Him,
The body of their dear Master that had died,
They go with love, embalming He who left the Earth.

Why do you look for Him Who raised up high?
He is not here, only His tomb he left,
Go tell the ones who loved Christ Jesus much,
"Jesus Christ has been victorious o'er death."

Mary Magdalene came close with tears and pain,
So she could ask the gardener of that place,
"I ask you, Please tell me, where did my Lord go?
I want to go where he is and enjoy his love."

Thousands of Angels in heaven sing today,
The Savior of men who conquered with much strength,
No sepulchers can be withheld anymore,
The ones believing in the Lord will be redeemed.

I found a friend in Jesus, my Savior and my Lord,
I will tell of all the things he's done for me,
He found me vile, unworthy, the worst sinner of all,
But he saved me and he keeps me as his own,
He saves me from transgressions, from Satan keeps me safe,
He promises to stay until the end. Hallelujah!
He consoles me from my sadness and takes away my grief;
Such great things my Jesus Christ has done for me!
