25. I MEDITATE ON THE YEAR

LOTW Jo·s-~·pattftlaI MEOTTATION'ftk'12:6fORGIVENESS
I meditate on the year that has gone by,
Making a balance of the things I've done,
It is very clear, it's also very real,
That I have not known how to do what is God's will.
CHORUS
Now I stand upon the balance,
And I find a lack before the eyes of the Lord,
But in His great goodness, He reaches for me,
For He wants to give me an opportunity.
(FINALE): A coming new year.
2
I come before You, Lord, humbled at Your feet,
I come to ask forgiveness for my sins;
For I acknowledge that pride within my heart.
It has hindered me in the quest for holiness.
3
So like the fig tree I'm given one more year,
The one in charge has made it his request.
For the coming year a fruit shall appear;
For then from the garden the Lord will cut me off.
26. SITTING AT THE FEET OF JESUS

Luke T0.39'CONSE'CRATION'f PS'1+0.'li'TRUST
Sitting at the feet of Jesus, oh, what Words I hear Him say!
Happy place! So near so precious! May it find me there each day;
Sitting at the feet of Jesus, I would look upon the past.
For His love has been so gracious, it has won my heart at last.
2
Sitting at the feet of Jesus, where can mortal be more blest?
There I lay my sins and sorrows, and when weary find sweet rest;
Sitting at the feet of Jesus, there I love to weep and pray,
While I from His fullness gather grace and comfort every day.
