Page 253 - English Hymn Book 2018
P. 253
More of His meekness, more humility;
More zeal to serve him, and show Fidelity,
More consecration for work He bids me do.
CHORUS
Take thou my heart, I would be Thine alone,
Take thou my heart, and make it all Thine own;
Purge me from sin, oh, Lord I now implore,
Take me and keep me Thine forever more.
2
More like the Master, is my daily prayer,
More strength to carry, crosses I must bear;
More earnest effort, to enter His kingdom,
More lost souls brought here, found now at the altar.
3
More like the Master, I would live and grow,
More of His love, to others I would show;
More self denial, like Him in Galilee,
More like the Master, I long to ever be.

I find my rest in the Lord's faith;
In mansions brimming with His peace;
The King of Kings redeems my way,
I gladly tread along.
CHORUS
Faith that strengthens my soul,
I could never deny;
You're a gift from my Master, a gift so precious,
For His faithful flock.
2
Faith shall allow me brand new life,
Up there in all eternity;
Where I will sing for endless days,
All honor, praise to Him.
