48. HUMBLY, I ADDRESS
A Tl DIR/JO Ml I/OZ SUPLICANTE
carT:21·Pti'i5.i:tutrcYN7 PsT=io:s·°i';RA'lER
I address my meek voice unto you, Lord Jesus,
My Savior, you give me strength;
You have saved many souls who were wandering
Lifted their vile guilt and shame.
CHORUS
//My Lord// all of my hope is in you,
I have no shelter but here in your presence,
You are my sole hope on earth.
2
You know my bitterness and all I suffer,
Gaze upon me, when oppressed;
I lost all hope in all creatures on this earth
Not one could feel all my pain.
3
Humbly, oh, Christ, I beseech and I call you:
Listen to me, oh, my Lord!
With my disheartened soul I keep on calling,
Utter and deep is my pain.
4
I am weak and temptation so forceful,
Give me, oh, Lord, your great strength;
Once I was captive, but you freed my being,
Do not allow me to fall.
5
Those you have chosen and I will be joyful,
Your blessings can't be compared;
Our hearts rejoice, flowing with God's grace,
'Cause You have pardoned our souls.
