If once my life was dark and my path full of transgressions,
Just like a gloomy night making me quiver within;
Then Jesus has imparted His love and His divine grace,
And I am dwelling blissful under a cloudless sky.

The Church of the Living God, a beacon shining brightly,
The Pillar and the Ground of the utmost godly truth;
Your strength is in the Lord's word, defeating all of your foes,
And men who trust in your name, shall find their liberty.

Today I walk with courage to triumph in my battles,
Dreaming of my sweet vict'ry with Jesus Christ my Lord;
And in this world I foresee new beacons in all places,
