But Jesus Christ who is the fount and the spring of purest love,
Through His good grace my soul was saved and brought to light.

If I go through temptations, tests and battles in this world,
They can't compare to all the joys I'll have in heaven's home;
If I am faithful in all things I know my soul has life,
And you'll embrace it in your arms where it may dwell.

There'll be no tribulation, and no bitterness at heart,
In His celestial kingdom we'll all live in happiness;
Only the songs of angels there in heaven will be heard,
My soul will gladly sing to Him and praise His Name.

Oh, what great love You showed for all us sinners in this world,
