The Lord returns to Earth someday,
This was His promise to His flock;
Just as He rose, He will return,
All His people will behold the King and Christ

Yes, very soon, Jesus will come,
His people will gladly behold Him;
Let us keep watch and pray with faith,
So that we may see Him that day.

The Messengers sent by the Lord,
Confirm that Jesus will return;
So does the Spirit of our God,
In the Bible He has promised this to us.

Oh, what glory without compare,
It will be when we see our King;
His loving face will brightly shine,
Far more brightly than the sun we see each day.
