I came to Christ, and by grace He has saved me,
I took the cross of the blessed Savior Lord;
All I need now is Your help to obtain my victory,
That I be prudent, and speak only the truth.
CHORUS
Behold, this Earth only offers, perdition to mankind,
Jesus the Lord has now offered great salvation;
Sustain my soul, oh, Lord, do not ever let it perish,
Let me behold Your sweet face within Your home.

There is a God and a Mediator, too,
Who takes away all our wickedness and sins;
He came to save me from the depths of my sin,
And so I follow the only pathway of truth.

There's a command that our Savior gave to us,
And with the help of the Lord we must comply;
He has asked us to pray for each other every day,
So that the Lord may cleanse us of our sins.

Remove from me all the quarrels and all rage,
Every dissension, and my imperfection, too;
And daily purify my heart and my soul,
Teach me to love without bounds just like You.
