All the Christians who are true and faithful,
And the brave missionaries of our God,

Oh, how great is the love that Jesus Christ has given me,
To come to this blest place, to praise the King, Mount Zion's King;
He dwells far in the depths of my soul and my heart,
And now He shall confirm the congregation's heart.

You walked through the thistles, and your feet bled stepping on
them,
He poured upon us myrrh, scenting the soul with His deep love;
Permit me to be living, with your love my dear Lord,
Allow me pow'r over pain and cast it far away.

Take away all my hate; don't let my love to dissipate,
He calms all of my pain, and my concerns with His great love,
May my soul leave to see, the God who formed my soul,
As an offender freed, from bitter, horrid pains.

My heart was watchful but without compassion I slept,
The sprinkle of the dew, upon his hair is resting now;
The guards have found me now, they took away my song,
