to learn from survival to be killer or to will be killed by brothers,
but become enemies. He knew he would lose all of his life or a
part of his body. Sometimes he was afraid while he thought of
his situation, his lover and family. But he could not refuse to

both side. They were setting young men into their game. They
were plaid, watched people die on their game and claimed for
their victory. Someday will be my turn...! Who know...!" In the
emotion Nguyen said.

"But you must understand that who is wrong, who is right.
Such as Vietcong, they always wanted to kill us, to dominate
over people. We were defending only! They were the cost of the
war!"

"I understood... But on another side of our politicians. There
is the dirty trick in their souls. They would like to have power,
money and to be a foreigner’s slaver more than they want to be a
leader of the country."

After Tuan dead three months, at August 1964, while
Nguyen drove an Air Force pickup truck into the front gate. Just
on time, he was passing the helicopter parking toward a Pyramid
Radar Controller, which was another side of L-19's runway
about a half mile from the front gate. Nguyen saw Tran-Van-
Quang just stepping down on the parking from the helicopter.
Quang was a helicopter pilot of Deity Elephant squadron and
Nguyen's friend from the time they were students of Ban-Me-
Thuot high school. Before Quang volunteer to Air Force and
want to be a pilot. He grew in a lovely family with two sisters,
Tran-Thi-Dung and Tran-Thi-Hoa. Quang was the only son of
his family, since Nguyen like his parent's adopted son. Quang
lived at the Xom-Dao, close to the Catholic church in Ban-Me-
Thuot city.
