The safety instructions found in this section and throughout this manual are indicated by specific terms. Familiarize with the terms and definitions before operating this system.
‘WARNING’ details possible safety infractions that will potentially cause serious injury and may damage the equipment as well.
‘CAUTION’ details possible safety infractions that could have the potential to damage the equipment.
‘NOTE’ details helpful information regarding specific functions
The system is designed for a safe and reliable treatment when used in proper operation and maintenance. The operator and all other personnel operating or maintaining the system should be familiar with the safety information provided.
WARNINGS
Warnings relating to GENEO X System
• Patients should remove all jewelry prior to treatment.
• Do not use system on any of the following areas: thyroid area, breasts, groin, genitals, armpits,
below the eyebrows, over the eye lids or eyeballs.
• The Geneo X system is designed to operate with Geneo X applicators only and vice-versa. Safety
features are incorporated in the system to ensure safety of applicators. Do not try to connect other
applicators and do not try to connect the GENEO X applicators to other systems.
• To avoid contamination between patients, clean the applicators and device according to
instructions specific for each device part as detailed in “CARE AND MAINTANANCE” chapter in this
user manual.
• Applicators must be properly connected to the system and locked before activation.
• Information about the nature of the treatment and its expectations should be provided to the
patient prior to treatment commencement.
• Only qualified personnel are allowed to operate GENEO X and its Applicators. To prevent use by
unqualified personnel, turn the system OFF when not in use.
• Before attempting to operate the GENEO X system, be sure to read this manual and become
familiar with all safety requirements and operating procedures.
• Always take proper precautions as described in this manual, while making sure to constantly be
aware of the possible dangers.
• Use GENEO X for its intended purpose only, as described in this user manual. The manufacturer
will not be held responsible for any damage or injury resulting from improper or careless use.
• When the GENEO X system is plugged in, never leave it unattended.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Only authorized customer service center and/or technician can repair the system. Do not attempt
to repair it yourself.
• No modification of equipment is allowed!
• UseGENEOXonlywiththeoriginalsuppliedpowersupplyandcord,applicators,andmassager
head.
• Before use, verify GENEO X and its accessories show no visible damage.
• Do not operate if power cord is damaged and/or system parts are disassembled.
• Do not touch the USB connector (port) during treatment.
