This course is for those students who want to learn how to design a residential home. The student starts with room design; then he/she draws a house floor plan, house elevations, perspectives, electrical & other plans related to a complete house. A second project is to design & draw a beach house or cabin. Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) will be used.

This course is an in-depth study of the structural systems. Students will make a complete set of working drawings for a dream house. Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) is used to develop 10% of these drawings.

The purpose of the Guitar course is to teach the essential skills of musicianship through the medium of the guitar. In general, students develop the ability to communicate musically with an audience. After a year of study in this course, students will be able to accompany themselves and others in performing music for an audience or for their own enjoyment. Performances throughout the year both in class and for the community in our theater insure that the students have an outlet.
The students will be able to read music at a basic level, interpret chord symbols, play in an ensemble, and solve musical problems like determining how to harmonize a given melody with simple chords. Students will learn how to listen to music to gain a deeper appreciation for the art of
