24.) Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
25.) O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26.) And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.”
With the teachings of the trinity, it looks like Jesus (the second person – or Deity) is praying to another Deity. Remember Deuteronomy 6:4 says, “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:” Exodus 34:14, “For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.”
Imagine having the name of Jealous. Deuteronomy 5:7-10, 7.) “Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 8.) Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth: 9.) Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me, 10.) And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.”
God would not bow down himself and worship any other God nor approve of his creation worshipping another Deity that does not exist. We understand that from the Scriptures that there exist no three coequal gods. Therefore, the question remains of how could God, who is the one true Yeshua, (Yhwh-I AM), creator of all and everything, create another Deity to be God and worship it? Deuteronomy 4:35-39, 35.) “Unto thee it was showed, that thou mightest know that the Lord he is God; there is none else beside him. 36.) Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee: and upon earth he showed thee his great fire; and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the fire. 37.) And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt;”
Pause here for a minute before we continue with this passage of Scripture. Verse 37 of Deut. 4 “..., therefore he chose their seed after them,...” This is a promise recognized as the Promise of the seed of Abraham or the “Abrahamic Covenant” in Genesis 17:7, “And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after thee.” Also in Genesis 22:18, “And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.” – O.T. scriptures. N.T. – Galatians 3:16, “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, and to seeds, as of many; but as of one, and to thy seed, which is Christ.” Christ Jesus was not even born until the New Testament. Now then let us continue where we left off in Genesis 4: 38. ..., 38.) “To drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou are, to bring thee in, to give thee their land for and inheritance, as it is this day. 39.)
