Then how is this possible? In Psalm 16:8 and 11 David makes this statement. Verse 8: “I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.” Verse 11: “Thou wilt shew me the path of life; in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” The term right hand does not signify a place of location – as in - place this table here please. The location here is all power and authority, the strength of all hope, and all power of attorney-ship is in God Jesus almighty. The humanity of Jesus Christ which was after the seed of Abraham had all the power and authority of God himself dwelling within the fleshly nature of Jesus as recorded in John 1:14 “And the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
In verse 25 of Acts 2, David realized that the Lord (YHWH) was his power of strength and hope as well as in Psalm 16. Shall we continue with Acts 2:26, 26.) “Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: 27.) Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. 28.) Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance. 29.) Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us unto this day. 30.) Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, who would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;”
Please take note that David makes this statement as recorded in I Kings 22:19, “ And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.” This place does signify location. Isaiah said it this way in Isaiah 6:1-3, 1.) “In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. 2.) Above it stood the seraphims; each one had six wings: with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. 3.) And one cried Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.” What about John the Revelator in Revelations 4:2, “And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.” Starting again with Acts 2:31, “31.) He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. 32.) This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. 33.) Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. 34.) For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, 35.) Until I make thy foes thy footstool. 36.) Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.”
Take a look at Acts 4:8-12, 8.)”Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel, 9.) If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole: 10.) Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom
