Jesus^^is the transliteration into modern English of the Greek word lesous , which is the equivalent of the Hebrew "Yeshua". The Greek also took a different sound when it was transliterated from the Hebrew Yeshua. lesous, IS transliterated into other languages of the world with different
pronunciations. In English, it is Jesus. Some Semitic people pronounce Jesus Yesus , Yeshu", and "Eyesus", The everlasting New Testament name of the God-man is "Yeshua", meaning Saviour. This name is above everynamewherebywhichwemustbesaved(Acts4:12; Philippians2:9-11; Ephesians 1:21; Colossians 3:17; Romans 10:13; Acts 2:21; Matthew 1:21-23).
