152 ♦ Bible Writers'Theology Chapter Seven
sinners are not brothers of Jesus Christ, but only those who are born again. Only the partakers of the divine nature are fellow members of Christ (II Peter 1:4; I Peter 1:23-25; Galatians 3:26-27; Ephesians 1:4-11; 2:11-20; John 1:12-13; 3:3-6).
It is very important to note the scripture which says, "All things are delivered unto me of my Father; and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him" (Matthew 11:27). If Christ was from humanseed, thereisnoneedtosayHeisamystery. AsPaulteachesusin Acts 20:28, the blood of Christ is of God. If the blood is of God, the flesh isalsoofGod.(John1:1-14;ITimothy3:16). Wemustbeawareofthewarn ing of I Peter 2:8, Christ is indeed "a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: where- unto also they where appointed."
Let us summarize the holiness and sole nature of the Man Christ (the sec ond Adam) in a table that compares and contrasts Him with the first Adam and sinful humanity.
