lead the gentile world to any clear apprehension of the existence of God, the nature of God, or the will of God. Even philosophy did not give men a true concept ofGod. He also said that "none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory" (I Corinthians 2:8).
