• In time of prayer and fasting, we bring every high thing that exalteth
itself against the knowledge of God and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ, and we must have readiness to revenge all disobedience. When our flesh's obedience is fulfilled, vic tory is at hand (II Corinthians 10:3-6; Genesis 32:26; 35:1-5).
• Prayer and fasting cannot go without faith, for the Bible in Hebrews 11:1-40 attests "But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently (love to) seek Him" (Verse 6).
• God loves and answers their prayers for those who love to wait patiently for the Lord, He inclines unto them and hears their cry (Psalm 40:1; Isaiah 26:3; Luke 18:1-8; Lamentations 3:24-25).
• Prayers and fasting can go in vain if we do it carelessly (Isaiah 58; II Timothy 2:16; Matthew 6:5-18).

• Prayer cannot be limited to a place. Pray on the way, or at the gate of the synagogues or in an ordinary house, it can work as in Acts chap ter 2: 41-47; 3: 6; 4: 31; 16: 25-31; 16:13.
