To impart life into us
To sustain us
To help us
To love us
To reveal His secrets or thoughts
To do His law To guide us
To heal us
To prove us
To act as a two-edged sword
To accomplish what is said of God
3.0 The Bible is God's Word

As man compiles all his ideas, guidance, and teachings in a book, God prepared a book, the Bible, so that He may fulfill His plan for us. All His words are written in the scriptures, joined together, and called the Bible. We know that the Bible is God's word by its own testimony and character, historical and scientific verifications, and its impact upon human society. In addition, we know also the Bible is God's word by applying His word to our lives and experiencing its dynamic power and authority. Finally, the prophe-
