♦ Bible Writers' Theology Chapter Ten
The Church will Reign with Christ for Eternity
The Qiurch will reign with Christ for one thousand years on this presentearth (Revelation20:6).
After one thousand years reigning on this present earth, we will be transferred to the new heaven and earth, and shall reign forever and ever. Revelation 21-22.
The Church shall participate in the judgment (Matthew 19:28; Luke 22: 28-30; 1Corinthians 6:1-3; I Corinthians 5:3-4; II Thessalonians 1:5- 10).
In order to be a member of this glorious Chiu-ch one must be bom again (John 1:12-13; John 3:3-6; Acts 2:1-4, 38-41; Galatians 3:27; II Corinthians 15:45-50; Colossians 2:8-14; Titus 3:4-8; I Peter 2:23-25).
10.2 Death
Physical death is the separation of the spirit (soul) from the flesh made ofdust(Greek-KoiKOcp)meaning"dirtthatisheapedup". Thedustgoes to the dust and shall see corruption (Genesis 3:19;Acts 2:25-31; I Corinthians
15:42-50;). Therefore the common name of the outer man is flesh and blood and the inner man is spirit and soul. Therefore, the outer man is a dead body after the separation of the spirit and soul from the flesh and blood.

Death is Identified with Different W ords
• Soul (spirit) sleep (John 11:11; I Corinthians 15:51; I Thessalonians 4:13-14).

Dissolution of the body (II Corinthians 5:1).
The putting off of the earthly tabernacle (II Peter 1:14). Separation of soul (spirit) (Luke 12:20).
Going to where there is no return (Job16:22).

Going down into silence (Psalms 115:17).
Returning to the dust (Genesis 3:19).
Fading and withering like grass and flower (1 Peter 1:23-25; Job 14:2). Departure or separation (Philippians 1:23).
Man is Appointed Once to Die and Face Judgment
Gathering unto His people (Genesis 49:33).
Hebrews 9:27 affirms that, "... it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this thejudgment." Those who will stay until the coming of Jesus shall not see physical death but in a twinkling of an eye, the righteous shall be changed into the likeness of Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17).
