to hear Tekle's message. Although he did not express his feelings, Debissa felt highly offended by Tekle's words. Alaro discerned his feelings and rose to admonish, "My fellow men, do not err. The Lord is speaking to you through this man. The Lord warned me with a vision that
this is Bible truth. Do not hesitate to accept it." Debissa remained unconvinced until a vision came to
him that night. He related it the next day.
"I stood before a deep lake. Tekle and Jesus came over the water and Tekle immersed me, calling on the name of Jesus. When I came out of the water, I found
myself clothed in pure white from head to toe."
Tekle sprang to his feet and explained that at bap
tism they would put on the pure, sinless body of Christ and their sins would be washed away. The Lord again con firmed His Word miraculously, and four chiurches and their pastors obeyed the Word.
In Kambata District three more churches received the Jesus Name message, along with their pastors, Haile Sanamo, Abba Dama, and Mokonnen Lodamo.
On his return to Awasa, Tekle happily reported by telephone to Brother Wendell what Godhad wrought. He came and visited all ofthe churches with Tekle and gave them assistance where feasible.
Later, the Lord told Brother Wendell to preach at Sivayand to pray for a sick man there. After he brought the Word, Brother Wendell asked, "Who is sick?"
A man with elephantiasis, evident by a horribly swollen, infected leg, hobbled to the fi'ont of the church. He received instant healing when Brother Wendell and Tekle prayed for him.
