unseeing eyes and seemed not to hear anything spoken to him. Eight days of injections at the hospital availed nothing, and his parents brought him home.
His pastor returned from a journey on the twelfth day of his illness and came to pray for him. He called his name, "Dijamo! Dijamo!" then forced two fingers between his teeth to touch his tongue, saying, "Tongue, it is written that you must speak."
Dijamo regained consciousness and asked, "Who are you? Do not touch me if you have not been baptized in Jesus' name."
"I am your pastor—Elias. What happened to you?"
Dijamo confessed that he had grovm cold in the Lord. "It felt as if two dragons had coiled aroimdmyneck and were going to kill me, but an angel slew them and saved my life." All of the churches took Dijamo's story as a warning that backsliding is dangerous.
